Comparison review

Galaxy Note 10.1 is much better than the Asus Fonepad 8, with a 66.3 score against 55.6. Both tablets in this review work with the same Android 4.4 OS (Operating System), so they should provide the user identical operating system features. Galaxy Note 10.1 is a much heavier tablet device than Asus Fonepad 8, but they are 0.35inches thick.

Asus Fonepad 8 counts with a bit more vivid screen than Galaxy Note 10.1, because although it has a lot smaller display, and they both have the same 1280 x 800 pixels resolution, the Asus Fonepad 8 also counts with a greater display pixels density. The Asus Fonepad 8 counts with a bit more powerful CPU than Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1. Both have the same RAM memory amount and the same number of cores.

The Asus Fonepad 8 shoots much better photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1. Both of them have a same resolution back camera. The Galaxy Note 10.1 counts with a much better storage capacity to install applications and games than Asus Fonepad 8, because although it has an external memory slot that allows 32 GB smaller, it also counts with 48 GB more internal storage capacity.

Galaxy Note 10.1 counts with a very superior battery lifetime than Asus Fonepad 8.

Although Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Asus Fonepad 8, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Asus Fonepad 8. So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1, otherwise you can save a couple dollars and get the Asus Fonepad 8, letting go a couple features and specs.
