The Galaxy View 2 has an overall score of 65.3, which is much better than Asus Fonepad 8's overall score of 55.6. These tablets come with Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy View 2 has a newer 8.1 Oreo version while Asus Fonepad 8 has Android 4.4 version. Although it's the best device we compare here, the Galaxy View 2 is a notably heavier and extremely thicker device than the Asus Fonepad 8.
The Galaxy View 2 has a little faster processing unit than Asus Fonepad 8, because it has a higher number of cores and 1 GB more RAM memory. The Asus Fonepad 8 has a brighter display than Galaxy View 2, because although it has a really smaller screen and a way lower resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels, it also counts with a better pixels count per display inch.
Samsung Galaxy View 2 has a lot bigger memory capacity for applications and games than Asus Fonepad 8, because it has a SD memory card expansion slot that admits up to 400 GB and 64 GB internal storage. The Galaxy View 2 features a much better battery lifetime than Asus Fonepad 8. Asus Fonepad 8 has a way better camera than Galaxy View 2.
Although Galaxy View 2 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Asus Fonepad 8, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Asus Fonepad 8. If you are trying to save a few dollars, you can get Asus Fonepad 8, giving up a couple features and specs, but you will get the most out of your money.
