Comparison review

Sony Tablet S is a bit better than Asus Fonepad 8, with a 57.5 score against 55.6. Both of these tablets work with Android OS (operating system), but the Sony Tablet S has older 4.0 version while Asus Fonepad 8 has Android 4.4 version. Despite being the best tablet device in this comparison, Sony Tablet S's design is incredibly heavier and thicker than the Asus Fonepad 8.

The Asus Fonepad 8 counts with a bit more vivid display than Sony Tablet S, because although it has a bit smaller screen, and they both have the same exact 1280 x 800 resolution, the Asus Fonepad 8 also counts with a quite higher display density. The Asus Fonepad 8 counts with a quite better processing power than Sony Tablet S, because it has a larger amount of RAM memory and a larger number of cores.

Sony Tablet S features a greater memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Asus Fonepad 8, because although it has a slot for an SD memory card that holds up to 32 GB against 64 GB, it also counts with 16 GB more internal memory capacity. The Sony Tablet S counts with a really longer battery performance than Asus Fonepad 8.

Sony Tablet S shoots better videos and photos than Asus Fonepad 8. Both of them have a 5 mega pixels resolution camera in the back.

Although Sony Tablet S is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Asus Fonepad 8, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Asus Fonepad 8. So if you need that extra features, you can buy the Sony Tablet S, otherwise you can save some money and buy the Asus Fonepad 8, letting go some features and specs.
