Comparison review

Sony Vaio Tap 11 has a general score of 66, which is much better than Asus Fonepad 8's 55.6 score. The Sony Vaio Tap 11 works with Windows 8 operating system, while Asus Fonepad 8 works with Android 4.4 operating system. Although it's the best portable tablet we compare here, Sony Vaio Tap 11 is a much heavier and thicker portable tablet than Asus Fonepad 8.

The Sony Vaio Tap 11 counts with a bit more vivid screen than Asus Fonepad 8, because it has a really bigger screen, a just a bit greater display pixels density and a lot higher resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels. Sony Vaio Tap 11 counts with a way bigger storage for apps and games than Asus Fonepad 8, because although it has no SD memory card expansion slot, it also counts with more internal storage.

The Asus Fonepad 8 has a bit better processing unit than Sony Vaio Tap 11, because although it has 2 GB lesser RAM memory, it also counts with a larger number of cores. Sony Vaio Tap 11 has a very superior battery performance than Asus Fonepad 8. Asus Fonepad 8 shoots a little bit better videos and photos than Sony Vaio Tap 11, although it has a back-facing camera with a lot worse resolution.

Although Sony Vaio Tap 11 is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Asus Fonepad 8, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Asus Fonepad 8. If you prefer to save a few dollars, you can buy the Asus Fonepad 8, giving up a couple features, but you'll get the most out of your savings.
