Comparison review

Xperia Tablet S has a score of 58.9, which is just a bit better than the Asus Fonepad 8's general score of 55.6. These tablets include Android OS (Operating System), but the Xperia Tablet S has the older 4.1.1 version and Asus Fonepad 8 has Android 4.4. Despite being the best tablet in our current comparison, Xperia Tablet S's body is a lot thicker and heavier than Asus Fonepad 8.

Asus Fonepad 8 features a bit better processing unit than Xperia Tablet S, because although it has doesn't have a graphics processor, and they both have the same number of cores, the Asus Fonepad 8 also counts with a higher amount of RAM. Asus Fonepad 8 counts with a slightly better screen than Xperia Tablet S, because although it has a bit smaller screen, and they both have an equal 1280 x 800 resolution, the Asus Fonepad 8 also counts with a just a little higher pixel count in each screen inch.

The Sony Xperia Tablet S features a way bigger storage capacity to install games and applications than Asus Fonepad 8, because it has 64 GB internal memory and an external memory card slot that supports a maximum of 128 GB. Sony Xperia Tablet S's battery life is very similar to the Asus Fonepad 8 one.

The Asus Fonepad 8 captures just a bit better videos and photos than Xperia Tablet S, although it has a lot lower resolution back-facing camera.

Although Xperia Tablet S is a better device, it is way more expensive than Asus Fonepad 8, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Asus Fonepad 8. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy Xperia Tablet S, otherwise you can save some money and buy the Asus Fonepad 8, resigning some specs and features.
