Comparison review

The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 is a bit better than the Asus Fonepad 8, having a general score of 60.1 against 54.7. The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 is a somewhat thinner and a little lighter device than Asus Fonepad 8. Both devices in this review have Android OS (operating system), but the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 has the newer 5.0 version and Asus Fonepad 8 has Android 4.4 version.

The Asus Fonepad 8 has a better performing processing unit than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0, because it has more RAM and a higher number of cores (and also faster). The Asus Fonepad 8 and the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 feature very similar screens, and although the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 has a little lower count of pixels per inch of display and a quite lower resolution of 1024 x 768px, they both have a same size display.

The Asus Fonepad 8 and the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 both have very similar cameras, both have the same resolution camera in the back. Galaxy Tab A 8.0 counts with a way bigger storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Asus Fonepad 8, because it has 8 GB more internal memory and a slot for an external memory card that allows up to 128 GB.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 counts with a superior battery performance than Asus Fonepad 8.

In addition to being the best tablet in our current comparison, the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 is also by far the cheapest.
