These devices use Android OS, but Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020) has a more recent 9.0 Pie version and Asus Fonepad has Android 4.1 version, giving some extra features and optimized performance. Even though the Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020) is just a little bit heavier than the Asus Fonepad, it's just a bit thinner and way newer.
