Comparison review

Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 has a global score of 58, which is slightly better than the Asus Fonepad's 53.9 overall score. Both tablets we are comparing have Android OS (Operating System), but the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 has the newer 4.2.2 version and Asus Fonepad has Android 4.1 version, so it gives a couple nice extra features and increased performance. Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 is a thinner and lighter portable tablet than the Asus Fonepad, although they were released only 7 months apart.

The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 has a much better screen than Asus Fonepad, and although they both have a same size display, the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 also has a higher pixels density and a way better 1200 x 1920 resolution. Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 has a way better hardware performance than Asus Fonepad, because it has 3 more cpu cores, a graphics processor and more RAM.

Asus Fonepad features a lot bigger memory for applications, games, photos and videos than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7, and although they both have exactly the same 16 GB internal storage, the Asus Fonepad also has a slot for an SD memory card that admits up to 32 GB. The Asus Fonepad counts with a very superior camera than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7.

The Asus Fonepad features a much longer battery life than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7.
