The Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 is a little bit better than Asus Fonepad, getting a global score of 58.1 against 53.9. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 is an older and heavier portable tablet than Asus Fonepad, but Samsung made it somewhat thinner anyway. Both tablets in this review work with Android OS, but Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 has the older 4.0.4 version while Asus Fonepad has Android 4.1.
Asus Fonepad counts with a little sharper screen than Galaxy Tab 10.1, because although it has a really smaller display, and they both have exactly the same 800 x 1280 resolution, the Asus Fonepad also counts with a better screen density. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 has just a bit more storage for apps and games than Asus Fonepad, because although it has no slot for an SD memory card, it also counts with 16 GB more internal storage capacity.
The Asus Fonepad counts with a bit better CPU than Galaxy Tab 10.1, although it has an inferior number of cores. Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 captures much clearer photos and videos than Asus Fonepad. Both have a 3 mega-pixels resolution back-facing camera. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 has a much longer battery duration than Asus Fonepad, because it has a 59% more battery size.
Although Galaxy Tab 10.1 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Asus Fonepad, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Asus Fonepad. If you are trying to save some money, you can get the Asus Fonepad, letting go a few specs and features, but you will get the most with your money.
