Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) is way better than the Asus Fonepad, with a 65 score against 53.9. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) design is just a little thinner but noticeably heavier than the Asus Fonepad, and both were released with only 5 months difference. Both tablets in our current comparison work with the same Android 4.1 operating system.
The Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) has a bit better performance than Asus Fonepad, and although they both have 1 GB of RAM memory, the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) also has an additional graphics processor and a higher number of cores. Asus Fonepad features a bit more vivid display than Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T), because although it has a much smaller display, and they both have the same exact resolution of 800 x 1280, the Asus Fonepad also counts with a higher pixel number per inch in the screen.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) and Asus Fonepad count with similar storage to install applications and games or saving photos and videos, both of them have exactly the same 16 GB internal storage and a SD memory slot that holds a maximum of 32 GB. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) has a really longer battery duration than Asus Fonepad, because it has a 64% more battery capacity.
The Asus Fonepad shoots slightly better videos and photos than Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T). Both have the same resolution camera.
Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) costs a little more than Asus Fonepad, but you can get a much better tablet for that extra dollars.
