The Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 has a global score of 66.5, which is a lot better than the Asus Fonepad's general score of 53.9. Both tablets in this review have Android operating system, but the Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 has the newer 4.4.2 version while Asus Fonepad has Android 4.1, so it offers some nice extra features. Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 is a lighter and just a little bit thinner tablet than Asus Fonepad, even though they were released only a couple months apart.
Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 has a quite superior hardware performance than Asus Fonepad, because it has 512 MB more RAM memory, an extra graphics processing unit and more CPU cores. The Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 features a bit better looking display than Asus Fonepad, although it has a way worse resolution of 600 x 1024 pixels and a quite worse pixels amount per inch of screen, they both have a display with the same size.
The Galaxy Tab 3 7.0's camera is very similar to the camera in Asus Fonepad, both of them have a back-facing camera with a 3 mega pixels. The Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 has a bit more memory capacity for games and applications than Asus Fonepad, and although they both have equal 16 GB internal storage capacity, the Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 also has a SD extension slot that supports up to 64 GB.
The Asus Fonepad counts with a bit better battery life than Galaxy Tab 3 7.0, because it has 4270mAh of battery capacity against 4000mAh.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 not only is the best devices in this comparison, but it's also cheap compared to the Asus Fonepad.
