The Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016) has an overall score of 70.2, which is a lot better than the Asus Fonepad's 53.9 score. Both devices in this review include Android operating system, but Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016) has newer 8.1 Oreo version and Asus Fonepad has Android 4.1 version, counting with some additional features and performance optimizations. Even though Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016) is notably heavier than Asus Fonepad, it's noticeably thinner and also notably newer.
Asus Fonepad has a bit sharper display than Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016), although it has a little bit less pixels per inch in the screen, a lot worse resolution of 800 x 1280 and a much smaller screen. Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016) has much more memory to install applications and games than Asus Fonepad, and although they both have equal 16 GB internal memory capacity, the Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016) also has a SD extension slot that admits a maximum of 200 GB.
