The Galaxy Tab A 9.7 has a general score of 60.5, which is better than Asus Fonepad's 53.9 general score. These tablets come with Android operating system, but the Galaxy Tab A 9.7 has newer 7.1 Nougat version while Asus Fonepad has Android 4.1 version. Galaxy Tab A 9.7's body is a lot newer and extremely thinner than Asus Fonepad's, but it's also heavier.
The Asus Fonepad features a way better looking display than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7, because although it has a lot smaller display, it also counts with a slightly higher 800 x 1280 resolution and a way better pixel number per inch of display. The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7 counts with a bit superior CPU than Asus Fonepad, because it has a higher amount of RAM and 3 more cpu cores.
The Galaxy Tab A 9.7 shoots clearer pictures and videos than Asus Fonepad, because it has a back facing camera with much more mega pixels. Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7 counts with more memory capacity to store more apps and games than Asus Fonepad, and although they both have exactly the same 16 GB internal memory capacity, the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7 also has a SD memory slot that holds a maximum of 128 GB.
