The Galaxy Tab A8 has a global score of 62.6, which is much better than Asus Fonepad's score of 53.9. Both of these tablets come with Android OS (Operating System), but the Galaxy Tab A8 has a newer 11 version and Asus Fonepad has Android 4.1 version, giving some additional features and performance optimizations. The Galaxy Tab A8 body is extremely newer and much thinner than Asus Fonepad's, but it is also notably heavier.
The Asus Fonepad has a much powerful processing unit than Samsung Galaxy Tab A8, although it has lesser cores (although they are faster) and a smaller amount of RAM memory. The Asus Fonepad features a much better looking screen than Galaxy Tab A8, because although it has a much smaller screen and a much lower resolution of 800 x 1280px, it also counts with a bit more pixels per screen inch.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 features a lot bigger storage for applications and games than Asus Fonepad, because it has a SD card slot that supports a maximum of 1 TB and 16 GB more internal memory. Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 captures much clearer videos and photos than Asus Fonepad, because it has a way more MP back-facing camera.
Galaxy Tab A8 has a way better battery performance than Asus Fonepad, because it has a 65% greater battery size.
