Comparison review

The Galaxy Note 8.0 is a lot better than the Asus MeMO Pad 7, getting a 69.2 score against 53.8. The Galaxy Note 8.0 body is somewhat heavier but somewhat thinner than the Asus MeMO Pad 7. Both tablets in this review include the same Android 4.4.2 OS, so you shouldn't see any difference regarding operating system features.

Asus MeMO Pad 7 features a brighter display than Galaxy Note 8.0, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, and they both have the same resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels, the Asus MeMO Pad 7 also counts with a just a little higher quantity of pixels per inch of screen. Galaxy Note 8.0 features as much storage capacity for games and applications as the Asus MeMO Pad 7, they have equal 16 GB internal storage capacity and a SD memory slot that allows up to 64 GB.

Galaxy Note 8.0 features a little better hardware performance than Asus MeMO Pad 7, and although they both have a Quad-Core processing unit, the Galaxy Note 8.0 also has more RAM and a GPU. The Galaxy Note 8.0 counts with a really longer battery life than Asus MeMO Pad 7. The Galaxy Note 8.0 shoots much better pictures and videos than Asus MeMO Pad 7. They have the same video quality, the same video frame rates and a same resolution back-facing camera.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 is way more expensive than Asus MeMO Pad 7, but it's still a great deal, as you can get a much better tablet for that extra money.
