Asus MeMO Pad 7 (ME572C) has a general score of 59.5, which is a bit better than the Galaxy Tab's 58.6 overall score. The Asus MeMO Pad 7 (ME572C) construction is a lot thinner and notably lighter than Galaxy Tab. Both of these tablets have Android OS (Operating System), but Asus MeMO Pad 7 (ME572C) has 4.4 version and Galaxy Tab has Android 2.3.3 version.
Asus MeMO Pad 7 (ME572C) counts with a much powerful processing unit than Galaxy Tab, because it has a greater amount of RAM memory, more CPU cores and a 64-bits processing unit. The Asus MeMO Pad 7 (ME572C) has a way better looking display than Galaxy Tab, and although they both have a display of the same size, the Asus MeMO Pad 7 (ME572C) also has a much higher 1920 x 1200px resolution and a lot better quantity of pixels per inch of display.
The Galaxy Tab shoots a little bit better photographs and videos than Asus MeMO Pad 7 (ME572C), although it has a way worse 720x480 video resolution and a back camera with much less mega-pixels resolution. The Asus MeMO Pad 7 (ME572C) features much more memory capacity to install applications and games than Galaxy Tab. Both of them have exactly the same 32 GB internal memory.
Galaxy Tab has a much better battery duration than Asus MeMO Pad 7 (ME572C).
Although Asus MeMO Pad 7 (ME572C) is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Samsung Galaxy Tab, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Samsung Galaxy Tab. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy Asus MeMO Pad 7 (ME572C), otherwise you can save some money and buy the Samsung Galaxy Tab, giving up some specifications.
