HTC Jetstream is just a bit better than the Asus MeMO Pad 8, with a 63.6 score against 61.2. Even being the best we compare here, HTC Jetstream's construction is much older, much heavier and extremely thicker than the Asus MeMO Pad 8. Both tablets in this review include Android OS (Operating System), but the HTC Jetstream has the older 3.1 version while Asus MeMO Pad 8 has Android 4.4 version.
The Asus MeMO Pad 8 has just a bit better processing power than HTC Jetstream, because although it has doesn't have an extra graphics processing unit, it also counts with more RAM and a larger number of faster cores. The Asus MeMO Pad 8 counts with a sharper screen than HTC Jetstream, because although it has a lot smaller display, it also counts with a way higher resolution of 1920 x 1200px and a much better screen pixel density.
The Asus MeMO Pad 8 features slightly more storage capacity for apps and games than HTC Jetstream, and although they both have equal internal memory capacity, the Asus MeMO Pad 8 also has a slot for an external memory card that holds a maximum of 64 GB. HTC Jetstream counts with a very superior battery life than Asus MeMO Pad 8.
HTC Jetstream features a much better camera than Asus MeMO Pad 8, because it has a back camera with lot more mega-pixels and a lot better 1920x1080 (Full HD) video definition.
Although HTC Jetstream is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Asus MeMO Pad 8, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Asus MeMO Pad 8. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy HTC Jetstream, but if you don't you can save some dollars and buy the Asus MeMO Pad 8, letting go a couple features and specs.
