Huawei MediaPad X2 is much better than Asus MeMO Pad 8, having a general score of 72.7 against 61.2. The Huawei MediaPad X2 design is newer, somewhat lighter and just a little thinner than Asus MeMO Pad 8. Both tablets in this review use Android OS, but the Huawei MediaPad X2 has 5.0 version while Asus MeMO Pad 8 has Android 4.4, so it provides you some extra features.
The Huawei MediaPad X2 has a better screen than Asus MeMO Pad 8, because although it has a quite smaller screen, and they both have the same 1920 x 1200 resolution, the Huawei MediaPad X2 also counts with a little bit higher quantity of pixels per inch of screen. Huawei MediaPad X2 counts with just a bit better processing power than Asus MeMO Pad 8, because it has 4 more processing cores , a 64 bits processing unit and a larger amount of RAM memory.
The Huawei MediaPad X2 captures much better pictures and videos than Asus MeMO Pad 8, because it has a back camera with much more mega pixels and a way higher 1920x1080 (Full HD) video quality. The Huawei MediaPad X2 features just a bit more storage for games and applications than Asus MeMO Pad 8, and although they both have exactly the same 32 GB internal memory capacity, the Huawei MediaPad X2 also has an external SD slot that supports a maximum of 128 GB.
Huawei MediaPad X2 counts with a superior battery lifetime than Asus MeMO Pad 8.
Huawei MediaPad X2 is way more expensive than Asus MeMO Pad 8, but it's still a great choice, because you can get a much better tablet for that extra money.
