Both tablets in our current comparison use Android OS, but Motorola Droid XYBoard 10.1 has an older 3.2 version and Asus MeMO Pad 8 has Android 4.4 version.
Asus MeMO Pad 8 has a bit faster processing unit than Motorola Droid XYBoard 10.1, because although it has doesn't have an additional graphics co-processor, it also counts with 1 GB more RAM and 2 more cores. The Asus MeMO Pad 8 counts with a brighter screen than Motorola Droid XYBoard 10.1, because although it has a really smaller display, it also counts with a lot better quantity of pixels per inch of screen and a way better resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels.
Motorola Droid XYBoard 10.1 counts with a slightly better memory for applications and games than Asus MeMO Pad 8, because although it has no slot for an SD memory card, it also counts with 32 GB more internal storage capacity. Motorola Droid XYBoard 10.1 has a much better battery lifetime than Asus MeMO Pad 8.
The Motorola Droid XYBoard 10.1 takes a lot better pictures and videos than Asus MeMO Pad 8. Both have the same video frame rate, a 5 megapixels back facing camera and the same video resolution.
