Motorola Droid XYBoard 8.2 is a bit better than Asus MeMO Pad 8, with a general score of 62.6 against 61.2. Both tablets we are comparing here include Android OS (Operating System), but Motorola Droid XYBoard 8.2 has the previous 4.0 version and Asus MeMO Pad 8 has Android 4.4. Motorola Droid XYBoard 8.2 is better than Asus MeMO Pad 8, it must be noted that it's also older, noticeably heavier and thicker.
The Asus MeMO Pad 8 has a little faster processor than Motorola Droid XYBoard 8.2, because although it has doesn't have a graphics processor, it also counts with a larger amount of RAM memory and 2 more processing cores. Asus MeMO Pad 8 features a bit more vivid display than Motorola Droid XYBoard 8.2, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a much better 1920 x 1200 resolution and a much better quantity of pixels per display inch.
Motorola Droid XYBoard 8.2 features a much better camera than Asus MeMO Pad 8. Both of them have a camera in the back with a 5 MP resolution, the same video resolution and the same video frame rate. The Asus MeMO Pad 8 features much more storage capacity to store more apps and games than Motorola Droid XYBoard 8.2, and although they both have exactly the same 32 GB internal memory capacity, the Asus MeMO Pad 8 also has an external memory card slot that holds a maximum of 64 GB.
The Motorola Droid XYBoard 8.2 counts with a really longer battery performance than Asus MeMO Pad 8.
Although Motorola Droid XYBoard 8.2 is a better device, it costs a lot more than Asus MeMO Pad 8, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Asus MeMO Pad 8. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy the Motorola Droid XYBoard 8.2, otherwise you can save some dollars and get the Asus MeMO Pad 8, giving up some features and specifications.
