Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) has an overall score of 75.8, which is way better than Asus MeMO Pad 8's global score of 61.2. The Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) is an older, just a bit thicker and much heavier device than Asus MeMO Pad 8. Both tablets we are comparing here have Android operating system, but the Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) has a newer 4.4.2 version and Asus MeMO Pad 8 has Android 4.4, so it provides some additional features.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) counts with a bit better CPU than Asus MeMO Pad 8, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) also has an extra GPU and a higher amount of RAM. The Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) counts with a bit more vivid screen than Asus MeMO Pad 8, because it has a just a bit higher screen density, a better resolution of 1600 x 2560 and a bigger screen.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014)'s storage capacity to store more games and applications is just as good as the Asus MeMO Pad 8 one, they have exactly the same internal storage capacity and an external SD slot that holds a maximum of 64 GB. The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) features a much longer battery life than Asus MeMO Pad 8.

The Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) features a little bit better camera than Asus MeMO Pad 8, because it has a way higher 1920x1080 (Full HD) video quality and a back-facing camera with lot more MP.
