Comparison review

Asus MeMO Pad 8 is a little bit better than Galaxy Tab 8.9, with a overall score of 61.2 against 58.1. These tablets work with Android OS (Operating System), but the Asus MeMO Pad 8 has the newer 4.4 version while Galaxy Tab 8.9 has Android 3.0 version. Asus MeMO Pad 8's body is noticeably newer, notably lighter and somewhat thinner than Galaxy Tab 8.9.

Asus MeMO Pad 8 counts with a bit better looking screen than Galaxy Tab 8.9, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a much better display pixel density and a lot better resolution of 1920 x 1200. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 counts with a little bit more storage capacity to install games and applications than Asus MeMO Pad 8, because although it has no external SD slot, it also counts with more internal memory capacity.

Asus MeMO Pad 8 has a quite better performance than Galaxy Tab 8.9, because it has 2 more processing cores. Asus MeMO Pad 8 shoots slightly better photographs and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9, and although they both have the same 1280x720 video definition and the same video frame rates, the Asus MeMO Pad 8 also has a much better 5 MP resolution back facing camera.

Galaxy Tab 8.9 counts with a superior battery duration than Asus MeMO Pad 8.

Despite of being the best tablet of the ones we are comparing, Asus MeMO Pad 8 is also very cheap compared to the other tablets.
