The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) has a general score of 68.3, which is better than Asus MeMO Pad 8's 61.2 score. Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018)'s body is much newer than the Asus MeMO Pad 8's, but it is thicker and heavier. These tablets come with Android OS, but Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) has a more recent 8.1 Oreo version while Asus MeMO Pad 8 has Android 4.4 version, so it gives you some additional features.

Asus MeMO Pad 8 counts with just a bit better performance than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018). They have the same RAM memory amount and the same number of cores. Asus MeMO Pad 8 features a much more vibrant display than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018), and although they both have a screen with the same size, the Asus MeMO Pad 8 also has a much better 1920 x 1200 resolution and a higher screen pixel density.

Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) features a really longer battery performance than Asus MeMO Pad 8.
