Comparison review
Asus MeMO Pad 8 has a global score of 61.2, which is a little bit better than the Samsung Galaxy Tab's score of 58.6. Asus MeMO Pad 8's body is notably newer, extremely lighter and much thinner than the Samsung Galaxy Tab. Both of these devices include Android OS (operating system), but the Asus MeMO Pad 8 has newer 4.4 version while Samsung Galaxy Tab has Android 2.3.3 version, giving a couple nice extra features and enhanced performance.
Asus MeMO Pad 8 counts with a much powerful processor than Galaxy Tab, because it has more RAM and a larger number of cores. The Asus MeMO Pad 8 counts with a much better looking display than Galaxy Tab, because it has a quite bigger display, way more pixels per screen inch and a way better resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab has just a bit better camera than Asus MeMO Pad 8, although it has a lot worse 720x480 video definition and a back-facing camera with lot less mega pixels resolution. Asus MeMO Pad 8 counts with a way bigger storage for games and applications than Galaxy Tab. They have equal internal memory capacity.
The Galaxy Tab has a much longer battery life than Asus MeMO Pad 8.
Asus MeMO Pad 8 costs more than Galaxy Tab, but you can get a better tablet for that extra money.
