Asus MeMO Pad FHD 10 has a general score of 60.6, which is a little bit better than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0's general score of 60.1. Both of these devices include Android operating system, but Asus MeMO Pad FHD 10 has the older 4.2 version while Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 has Android 5.0. Even being the best tablet device we are comparing, the Asus MeMO Pad FHD 10 is an older, a lot thicker and a lot heavier tablet device than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0.

Asus MeMO Pad FHD 10 features a brighter screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0, because it has a better pixel density, a larger screen and a way higher resolution of 1200 x 1920. Asus MeMO Pad FHD 10 features a better hardware performance than Galaxy Tab A 8.0, because it has an additional graphics processor, a larger number of faster cores and a higher amount of RAM.

The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 has a bigger storage for apps and games than Asus MeMO Pad FHD 10, and although they both have equal 16 GB internal storage capacity, the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 also has a SD card slot that allows a maximum of 128 GB. Galaxy Tab A 8.0 features a camera that's just as good as the camera in Asus MeMO Pad FHD 10, they have the same (HD) video resolution, the same video frame rate and the same resolution back facing camera.

Asus MeMO Pad FHD 10 features a very superior battery duration than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0, because it has 6760mAh of battery capacity instead of 4200mAh.

Although Asus MeMO Pad FHD 10 is a better device, it costs a lot more than Galaxy Tab A 8.0, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Galaxy Tab A 8.0. If you prefer to save a few dollars, you can buy Galaxy Tab A 8.0, and give up a couple features and specs, but you will get the most with your money.
