Asus MeMO Pad FHD 10 Review

Asus MeMO Pad FHD 10 is a pretty good Android tablet released back in 2013, equipped with a huge 10-inches multi-touch screen, a very fast Dual-Core processing unit speeding at 1600 MHz, and 2 cameras, a 5 megapixels back facing camera and a 1.2 mega-pixels front facing camera.

Asus made this tabletavailable just in 3 color options, pink, blue and white. This tablet has a gorgeous design, with a thickness of just 0.37". While the Asus MeMO Pad FHD 10 just has 10.42 inches long, it manages to hold a 10 inches display. Asus did a very good design job making the Asus MeMO Pad FHD 10 weight only 20.46 oz.

This tablet has a very good 10" screen with a 1200 x 1920 resolution, providing this tablet with a very nice graphical experience. This screen uses IPS LCD capacitive technology, and allows multi-touch for gestures like pinch and zoom.

This device is equipped with a very fast Dual-Core processor ticking at 1.6 gigahertz, included in a Intel Atom Z2560 chip and a large 2 GB of RAM memory. Graphic intensive applications and games usually consume a lot of processing power, so it uses a 200 megahertz PowerVR SGX544 GPU to help handle those graphic tasks. A nice advantage of this device is its 16 GB quite big internal storage memory and an external memory slot, enough to install hundreds of apps without running out of space.

This tablet features two cameras, a 5 MP back facing camera and a 1.2 megapixels front facing camera. The Asus MeMO Pad FHD 10 also shoots Full HD 1920x1080 videos. Additionally, this tablet's camera also has geo tagging and auto-focus.

The Asus MeMO Pad FHD 10 includes wi-fi connection (but it can't share it with other devices acting as a wireless modem), 4G LTE fast data connection and fast 3G internet connection, supported by HSPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. The Asus MeMO Pad FHD 10 works with a SIM card for GSM connection.

This device also includes a handful of nice characteristics such as Bluetooth (3.0) and GPS (Global Positioning System), and a few sensors likeLight Sensor and Accelerometer.

This tablet uses a big 6760 mAh Li-Polymer removable battery, enough to provide this tablet with an extremely long battery life. This tablet device has an aproximate talk time of 10.5 hs and a stand by time of 720 hs according to Asus.

Asus is offering the Asus MeMO Pad FHD 10 for 209 dollars, which is not a really offer for comparing with similar tablets. No matter if you will use it as a social portable tablet, need a portable tablet for work or will use it for playing games, this tablet is probably the right choice for you.
