Comparison review
Microsoft Surface 2 is a lot better than the Asus Transformer Book T100TA, with a score of 61.8 against 43.8. Both tablets we compare here come with Windows OS, but Microsoft Surface 2 has a more recent RT 8.1 version while Asus Transformer Book T100TA has Windows 8.1 version, so it provides you some additional features and increased performance. The Microsoft Surface 2 body is somewhat heavier but somewhat thinner than Asus Transformer Book T100TA.
The Microsoft Surface 2 features a bit better screen than Asus Transformer Book T100TA, because it has a greater pixel amount in each display inch, a higher 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution and a little larger display. The Asus Transformer Book T100TA has a much better memory to install games and applications than Microsoft Surface 2, because it has 64 GB internal memory capacity.
