Comparison review
Microsoft Surface Pro 3 is a lot better than Asus Transformer Book T300 Chi, getting a score of 72.2 against 57.4. Both tablets in our current comparison come with Windows OS (operating system), but Microsoft Surface Pro 3 has a more recent 8.1 Pro version and Asus Transformer Book T300 Chi has Windows 8.1, so it gives a couple additional features. Although it's the best portable tablet in this review, Microsoft Surface Pro 3 is a somewhat thicker and a little heavier portable tablet than Asus Transformer Book T300 Chi.
Asus Transformer Book T300 Chi counts with a little better performance than Microsoft Surface Pro 3, and although they both have 8 GB of RAM and 2 cpu cores, the Asus Transformer Book T300 Chi also has a 64-bit processor. Asus Transformer Book T300 Chi features a little sharper screen than Microsoft Surface Pro 3, because it has a slightly higher 1440 x 2560 pixels resolution, a little bit bigger screen and a just a little greater screen pixels density.
The Microsoft Surface Pro 3 features a superior storage capacity to store more apps and games than Asus Transformer Book T300 Chi, because although it has no SD extension slot, it also counts with more internal storage capacity. The Microsoft Surface Pro 3 shoots much clearer videos and photos than Asus Transformer Book T300 Chi.
The Microsoft Surface Pro 3 has a battery life that's just as good as Asus Transformer Book T300 Chi's battery performance.
Microsoft Surface Pro 3 costs a lot more money than the Asus Transformer Book T300 Chi, but you can get a much better tablet for that extra dollars.
