The Asus Transformer Pad 300 has a global score of 53.4, which is a bit better than the Panasonic Toughpad A1's global score of 51.9. These tablets come with Android OS (Operating System), but Asus Transformer Pad 300 has the newer 4.2.2 version while Panasonic Toughpad A1 has Android 3.2, giving some nice extra features and better performance. Even though Asus Transformer Pad 300 and the Panasonic Toughpad A1 were only released with a couple of months difference, Asus Transformer Pad 300 is way lighter and noticeably thinner.

The Asus Transformer Pad 300 has a little bit better performance than Panasonic Toughpad A1, and although they both have the same RAM amount, the Asus Transformer Pad 300 also has an extra graphics processing unit and a larger number of 1200 MHz cores. The Asus Transformer Pad 300 features just a bit better display than Panasonic Toughpad A1, and although they both have a screen of the same size, the Asus Transformer Pad 300 also has a quite higher pixel count per inch of screen and a slightly higher resolution of 800 x 1280 pixels.

The Asus Transformer Pad 300 features a superior camera than Panasonic Toughpad A1, because it has a much better resolution back camera. The Panasonic Toughpad A1's memory capacity to store more games and applications is just as good as the Asus Transformer Pad 300 one, they have a slot for an SD memory card that allows a maximum of 32 GB and the same 16 GB internal memory capacity.

The Panasonic Toughpad A1 counts with a really longer battery performance than Asus Transformer Pad 300.

Asus Transformer Pad 300 costs a little more money than the Panasonic Toughpad A1, but you can get a better tablet for that extra money.
