Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 is way better than the Asus Transformer Pad 300, getting a 68.5 score against 54.5. Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9's construction is newer, way thinner and extremely lighter than Asus Transformer Pad 300. Both of these tablets use the same Android 4.2.2 OS (operating system), so both should provide the user very similar operating system features.
