Asus Transformer Pad 300 Review

32 GB (TF300)     See other variants reviews Score: 54.5 / 100

Asus Transformer Pad 300 is a mid level Android tablet launched back in the year 2012, coming with an 8 MP back camera, a great 1200 MHz Quad-Core processing unit and a really big 10.1 inches multi-touch capacitive screen. Let's take a better look at what this tablet has to offer.

This tablet is quite a compact portable tablet, considering it has a 10.1" display and it has just 10.35" long. This device has an amazing design, with a thickness of just 0.39". It seems like Asus forgot about optimizing the weight in this 22.4 ounces tablet. Asus made this tabletavailable just in three colors, blue, red and white.

Asus packed this tablet with a good 10.1-inches screen, and a resolution of 800 x 1280 , providing this portable tablet with a regular graphic quality. This screen uses IPS LCD capacitive technology, and is multi-touch enabled.

Asus sells this tablet with a NVIDIA Tegra 3 T30L chip, packing a high-tech Quad-Core processing unit clocking at 1200 MHz and only 1 GB of RAM which is a bit disappointing considering its impressive CPU. To collaborate with graphic rendering, it also counts with a 416 MHz ULP GeForce GPU. A great advantage of this device is its astonishing 32 GB internal memory and a slot for SD memory cards, more than enough to store lots of apps, games, pictures and videos without even thinking about filling the tablet device.

This tablet is only equipped with an 8 MP back side camera. It also captures videos in 1920x1080 (Full HD). Additionally, this tablet's camera also includes geo tagging and auto-focus.

This device has WiFi capability (although it can't be provided to other devices acting as a hotspot). The Asus Transformer Pad 300 doesn't have a sim card, because it is not a GSM enabled tablet.

This tablet also includes a handful of cool features like Bluetooth (3.0, EDR) and GPS (Global Positioning System), and plenty of sensors like Light Sensor, Accelerometer, Gyroscope and Compass.

The Asus Transformer Pad 300 is being sold for $ 720, which is a high price for comparing with other similar devices.
