Comparison review
The Asus MeMO Pad 8 has a global score of 61.2, which is much better than Asus Transformer Pad 300's 54.5 general score. The Asus MeMO Pad 8 is a newer tablet device, and it's also thinner and way lighter than the Asus Transformer Pad 300. Both tablets in our current comparison come with Android operating system, but Asus MeMO Pad 8 has newer 4.4 version while Asus Transformer Pad 300 has Android 4.2.2 version, offering a couple nice extra features and performance tweaks.
The Asus MeMO Pad 8 has a little better performance than Asus Transformer Pad 300, because although it has doesn't have a GPU, and they both have a Quad-Core processor, the Asus MeMO Pad 8 also counts with 1 GB more RAM memory. Asus MeMO Pad 8 has a sharper display than Asus Transformer Pad 300, because although it has a really smaller display, it also counts with a way better resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels and a much higher number of pixels per inch of display.
Asus Transformer Pad 300 counts with a superior camera than Asus MeMO Pad 8, because it has a much better video resolution and a back-facing camera with much more mega-pixels. The Asus MeMO Pad 8 features slightly more memory capacity for games and applications than Asus Transformer Pad 300, and although they both have exactly the same internal storage, the Asus MeMO Pad 8 also has a SD memory slot that holds up to 64 GB.
Asus MeMO Pad 8's battery life is just as good as the battery lifetime in Asus Transformer Pad 300.
In addition to being the best tablet of the ones in this comparison, the Asus MeMO Pad 8 is also a bargain compared to others.
