Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0 has a general score of 60.4, which is much better than Asus Transformer Pad 300's global score of 54.5. Both tablets in this review have Android OS (operating system), but Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0 has the newer 4.3 version while Asus Transformer Pad 300 has Android 4.2.2, so it provides a lot of extra features and better performance. Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0 is a way lighter and incredibly thinner tablet than Asus Transformer Pad 300.

Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0 has a more vivid display than Asus Transformer Pad 300, because although it has a way smaller screen, and they both have the same exact resolution of 1280 x 800, the Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0 also counts with a greater display pixels density. Asus Transformer Pad 300 counts with a very superior memory capacity for apps and games than Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0, and although they both have a slot for SD memory cards that supports up to 32 GB, the Asus Transformer Pad 300 also has 32 GB internal memory.

The Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0's processor is just as good as the Asus Transformer Pad 300 one, and although the Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0 has a slower graphics processing unit running at 400 megahertz, they both have the same number of cores and the same RAM memory amount. Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0 counts with a really longer battery duration than Asus Transformer Pad 300.

The Asus Transformer Pad 300 shoots a bit better photographs and videos than Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0, because it has a camera with a lot higher resolution and a lot higher video definition.
