Comparison review
Samsung Ativ Tab is way better than the Asus Transformer Pad 300, with a 66.7 score against 54.5. Samsung Ativ Tab is a lighter and thinner tablet than the Asus Transformer Pad 300, even though they were released only a couple months apart. Samsung Ativ Tab works with Windows RT operating system, while Asus Transformer Pad 300 comes with Android 4.2.2 operating system.
Samsung Ativ Tab counts with a display that is very similar to the Asus Transformer Pad 300 one, and although the Samsung Ativ Tab has a little bit greater pixels density and a quite better resolution of 768 x 1366px, they both have a display of the same size. The Samsung Ativ Tab has a bit better hardware performance than Asus Transformer Pad 300, because although it has a worse GPU working at 400 megahertz and lesser CPU cores (but faster), it also counts with a greater amount of RAM.
The Asus Transformer Pad 300 takes much better photographs and videos than Samsung Ativ Tab, because it has a lot better 1920x1080 video resolution and a much more mega pixels camera in the back. Samsung Ativ Tab features a superior memory capacity for games and applications than Asus Transformer Pad 300, because it has a slot for external memory cards that holds up to 64 GB and 64 GB internal memory capacity.
The Samsung Ativ Tab counts with a really longer battery life than Asus Transformer Pad 300.
Despite of being the best tablet of the ones we compare here, the Samsung Ativ Tab is also cheaper than the other tablet.
