Both tablets in this comparison review include Android operating system, but the GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) has a newer 4.4.2 version while Asus Transformer Pad 300 has Android 4.2.2 version, providing a couple nice extra features.
GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) has a superior processor than Asus Transformer Pad 300, and although they both have 4 cores, the GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) also has 2 GB more RAM memory and a faster graphics processor running at 450 megahertz. The Samsung GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) has a way better screen than Asus Transformer Pad 300, and although they both have a screen of the same size, the Samsung GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) also has a lot higher screen pixel density and a way better resolution of 1600 x 2560 pixels.
The Asus Transformer Pad 300 takes a bit better photographs and videos than GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition). Both of them have a 8 MP resolution back facing camera, the same video frame rates and the same 1920x1080 video definition. Samsung GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) has a much greater storage for applications and games than Asus Transformer Pad 300, because it has 64 GB internal storage capacity and a SD memory slot that supports up to 64 GB.
