Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 is a lot better than Asus Transformer Pad 300, getting a general score of 67.8 against 54.5. Both tablets we are comparing have Android OS (Operating System), but the Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 has a newer 4.4.2 version while Asus Transformer Pad 300 has Android 4.2.2. Galaxy Tab 4 10.1's body is a lot newer, way lighter and extremely thinner than Asus Transformer Pad 300.
The Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 has just a bit better looking screen than Asus Transformer Pad 300. They have exactly the same 800 x 1280 resolution, a better amount of pixels per inch of display and a same size display. The Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 has a processing unit that is very similar to the Asus Transformer Pad 300 one, and although the Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 has a greater amount of RAM memory and a much better GPU, they both have a Quad-Core processor.
Asus Transformer Pad 300 counts with a slightly better camera than Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, because it has a much better 8 mega pixels resolution back-facing camera and a lot higher 1920x1080 video quality. The Asus Transformer Pad 300 has more storage capacity for applications and games than Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, because although it has an external memory card slot that allows up to 32 GB against 64 GB, it also counts with 16 GB more internal storage.
The Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 has a very superior battery lifetime than Asus Transformer Pad 300.
Despite of being the best tablet of the ones in this comparison, Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 is also by far the cheapest one, making this tablet a no doubt choice.
