The Galaxy Tab A8 has an overall score of 62.6, which is better than the Asus Transformer Pad 300's 54.5 score. The Galaxy Tab A8 is a notably newer tablet, and it is also somewhat lighter and noticeably thinner than the Asus Transformer Pad 300.
