Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 2 is a lot better than the Asus Transformer Pad 300, getting a score of 70 against 54.5. Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 2's body has the same thickness than the Asus Transformer Pad 300, but it's extremely lighter. Both devices we compare here include Android OS, but the Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 2 has newer 9.0 Pie version and Asus Transformer Pad 300 has Android 4.2.2 version.
Galaxy Tab Active 2 has a display that is just as good as the Asus Transformer Pad 300 one, because although the Galaxy Tab Active 2 has a way smaller display, and they both have the same 800 x 1280 resolution, it also counts with a higher pixel density. Galaxy Tab Active 2 features a bit better hardware performance than Asus Transformer Pad 300, because although it has doesn't have an extra graphics processor, it also counts with a higher amount of RAM memory and a greater number of faster cores.
The Galaxy Tab Active 2 has just a bit better camera than Asus Transformer Pad 300. Both have the same video frame rate, the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video quality and a 8 MP camera in the back. The Galaxy Tab Active 2 has slightly more memory capacity to store more apps and games than Asus Transformer Pad 300, because although it has only 16 GB internal memory, it also counts with a SD memory slot that holds up to 256 GB.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 2 counts with a much longer battery performance than Asus Transformer Pad 300.
Despite of being the best tablet of the ones we are comparing here, Galaxy Tab Active 2 is also by far the cheapest one, which makes this tablet a great choice.
