The Samsung Galaxy Tab Active is a lot better than the Asus Transformer Pad 300, having a 67 score against 54.5. The Samsung Galaxy Tab Active is a noticeably newer device, and it's also just a little bit thinner and a lot lighter than the Asus Transformer Pad 300. Both tablets in this review work with Android OS (Operating System), but the Samsung Galaxy Tab Active has the newer 4.4 version while Asus Transformer Pad 300 has Android 4.2.2 version, providing the user a couple additional features.
Galaxy Tab Active counts with a processor that's just as good as the Asus Transformer Pad 300 one, and although the Galaxy Tab Active has a larger amount of RAM and a faster 450 MHz graphics co-processor, they both have 4 CPU cores. Samsung Galaxy Tab Active counts with a more vivid screen than Asus Transformer Pad 300, because although it has a really smaller screen, and they both have an equal 1280 x 800 resolution, the Samsung Galaxy Tab Active also counts with more pixels per inch in the display.
Asus Transformer Pad 300 takes slightly better pictures and videos than Galaxy Tab Active, because it has a back facing camera with way more mega pixels and a much better video resolution. Asus Transformer Pad 300 counts with a bigger memory for applications and games than Galaxy Tab Active, because although it has an external memory card slot that admits 32 GB smaller, it also counts with more internal storage.
Samsung Galaxy Tab Active features a very superior battery duration than Asus Transformer Pad 300.
Even being the best tablet in our comparison, the Galaxy Tab Active is also a bargain compared to others.
