Galaxy Tab S 8.4 has a score of 74.5, which is much better than the Asus Transformer Pad 300's 54.5 global score. Galaxy Tab S 8.4 is a noticeably newer tablet, and it is also a lot thinner and extremely lighter than the Asus Transformer Pad 300. Both of these devices use Android operating system, but the Galaxy Tab S 8.4 has 4.4.2 version while Asus Transformer Pad 300 has Android 4.2.2 version.
The Galaxy Tab S 8.4 has just a bit better hardware performance than Asus Transformer Pad 300, because although it has doesn't have an additional graphics processor, it also counts with a greater amount of RAM and a larger number of faster cores. The Galaxy Tab S 8.4 counts with a lot better looking screen than Asus Transformer Pad 300, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a way higher pixel number per inch of display and a way better resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels.
Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 captures a bit better photographs and videos than Asus Transformer Pad 300.
