Comparison review

The Asus MeMO Pad 8 has a global score of 60.1, which is slightly better than the Asus Transformer Prime's global score of 54.8. Both of these tablets have Android OS, but the Asus MeMO Pad 8 has 4.4 version while Asus Transformer Prime has Android 4.0.3, so it counts with some nice extra features and enhanced performance. The Asus MeMO Pad 8 is a notably newer portable tablet, and it is also way thinner and a lot lighter than Asus Transformer Prime.

Asus MeMO Pad 8 features a better display than Asus Transformer Prime, because although it has a way smaller display, it also counts with a much higher display density and a much higher 1920 x 1200 pixels resolution. Asus Transformer Prime has a quite bigger memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Asus MeMO Pad 8, because although it has a SD extension slot that holds a maximum of 32 GB against 64 GB, it also counts with 16 GB more internal storage.

The Asus MeMO Pad 8 features a little bit better processing power than Asus Transformer Prime, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Asus MeMO Pad 8 also has a larger amount of RAM. Asus Transformer Prime has a greater camera than Asus MeMO Pad 8, because it has a lot better (Full HD) video definition and a lot higher resolution back facing camera.

Asus MeMO Pad 8's battery performance is just as good as the battery duration in Asus Transformer Prime.

Despite of being the best tablet of the ones in this comparison, Asus MeMO Pad 8 is also very cheap compared to the other tablets.
