The Lenovo TAB 2 A8 has a global score of 60.1, which is a little bit better than the Asus Transformer Prime's global score of 54.8. Lenovo TAB 2 A8 is a somewhat thinner and extremely lighter tablet than the Asus Transformer Prime. Both of these tablets include Android OS (operating system), but the Lenovo TAB 2 A8 has the newer 5.0 version and Asus Transformer Prime has Android 4.0.3, so it counts with some nice extra features and better performance.

The Lenovo TAB 2 A8 counts with a quite better processing power than Asus Transformer Prime, and although they both have the same RAM amount and a Quad-Core CPU, the Lenovo TAB 2 A8 also has a 64-bits CPU and an extra graphics processor. Lenovo TAB 2 A8 has a bit better screen than Asus Transformer Prime, because although it has a lot smaller screen, and they both have an equal 1280 x 800px resolution, the Lenovo TAB 2 A8 also counts with a greater pixel count per inch in the screen.

Asus Transformer Prime has a much better memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Lenovo TAB 2 A8, and although they both have a SD card slot that supports a maximum of 32 GB, the Asus Transformer Prime also has 32 GB internal memory. The Asus Transformer Prime features a greater camera than Lenovo TAB 2 A8, because it has a way more mega-pixels camera.

Lenovo TAB 2 A8 features a much longer battery life than Asus Transformer Prime.
