Lenovo TAB 2 A8 Review

Lenovo TAB 2 A8 is a pretty good Android tablet, which features an extremely powerful 64 bits Quad-Core processing unit ticking at 1.3 gigahertz, a good size 8" screen, a 5 megapixels back camera and a 2 mega-pixels front-facing camera.

Lenovo appears to have forgotten about weight optimization in this 11.64 ounces tablet. While the Lenovo TAB 2 A8 is only 8.27" long and 4.92 inches wide, it still manages to hold a 8" display. This tablet is just 0.35 inches thick, taking it to the thinnest portable tablet's category. Lenovo sells the Lenovo TAB 2 A8 in three colors, pink, blue and white.

This tablet is equipped with a MediaTek MT8161 system chip, including an extremely powerful 64-bit Quad-Core CPU ticking at 1.3 GHz and only 1 GB RAM memory which is a little bit disappointing comparing with its great processing power. Helping with graphic rendering, the Lenovo TAB 2 A8 also counts with an ARM Mali-T760 MP2 graphic processing unit clocking at 416 MHz. This device comes with anice 16 GB internal memory and a slot for SD memory cards, which allows the user to install hundreds of apps without worrying about space.

This tablet includes a good 1280 x 800 8" display, which makes all photos and movies look quite good. This display uses IPS LCD capacitive technology, and can detect multiple fingers at the same time.

The Lenovo TAB 2 A8 includes Wi-Fi connection (but it can't share it with other devices around, acting as a hotspot), LTE (4G) high performance connectivity and 3G fast connection type, using HSPA, HSUPA and EDGE technologies. The Lenovo TAB 2 A8 has dual SIM cards to be able to to work with two different phone lines and even different carriers.

The Lenovo TAB 2 A8 has two cameras, a 5 megapixels back side camera and a 2 MP front camera. This tablet also counts with geo tagging and auto-focus.

This tablet also comes with a handful of useful characteristics like Bluetooth (4.0) and GPS (Global Positioning System), and a few sensors likeLight Sensor, Proximity Sensor and Accelerometer.

This tablet features a 4200 mAh incredible Li-Ion non-replaceable battery that can keep it running for many hours without having to charge it at all. An issue to evaluate is that the Lenovo TAB 2 A8's battery isn't replaceable so you can't buy a new battery when it begins to have trouble holding its charge, even though with so much capacity you will probably replace this tablet device before it happens.

This tablet is not a very good choice considering it is offerred for 259 dollars, and other similar tablets are offerred way cheaper than that. This tablet is the correct option it doesn't matter whether you want this device for work, want a gamer device or are looking for a social device.
