Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) is a little bit better than the Asus Transformer Prime, with a 60.1 score against 54.8. Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1)'s body is a little thinner but a little heavier than Asus Transformer Prime, and both of them were released only 4 months apart. Both tablets in this comparison review have Android OS, but Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) has the newer 4.1 version and Asus Transformer Prime has Android 4.0.3 version.

The Asus Transformer Prime counts with just a little better hardware performance than Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), and although they both have the same RAM memory amount, the Asus Transformer Prime also has a greater number of cores. Asus Transformer Prime counts with a little bit better looking display than Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1). They have the same pixel density, a same size screen and the same resolution of 800 x 1280 pixels.

Asus Transformer Prime features a way better camera than Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), because it has a lot higher 1920x1080 (Full HD) video resolution and a much higher 8 mega pixels resolution back camera. Asus Transformer Prime counts with a very superior storage capacity for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), and although they both have a slot for external memory cards that supports up to 32 GB, the Asus Transformer Prime also has 32 GB internal memory capacity.
