Comparison review

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) has an overall score of 58.5, which is a little bit better than Asus Transformer Prime's score of 54.8. Both tablets in this comparison use Android operating system, but the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) has a newer 4.1 version and Asus Transformer Prime has Android 4.0.3 version, giving a couple nice extra features and optimized performance. Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) is a much lighter tablet device than the Asus Transformer Prime, but they are equally thin.

The Asus Transformer Prime features just a bit better performance than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), and although they both have a 1 GB RAM, the Asus Transformer Prime also has 2 more cores. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) counts with a bit better looking screen than Asus Transformer Prime, because although it has a way worse 600 x 1024 resolution and a lot smaller screen, it also counts with a little bit greater pixels density.

The Asus Transformer Prime shoots much better videos and photos than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), because it has a way more mega pixels camera in the back and a much higher video resolution. Asus Transformer Prime counts with a superior memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), and although they both have a SD card slot that holds a maximum of 32 GB, the Asus Transformer Prime also has 32 GB internal storage.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) has a much better battery lifetime than Asus Transformer Prime.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) is not only the best tablets between the ones we are comparing here, but it's also very cheap compared to the other tablets.
