Comparison review
Apple iPad 3 is a lot better than the Asus Transformer Prime, getting a 71.1 score against 56.3. Apple iPad 3's design is just a bit thinner but heavier than Asus Transformer Prime, and both of them were only released with a couple of months difference. Apple iPad 3 comes with iOS 6.1 OS, while Asus Transformer Prime has Android 4.0.3 OS.
The iPad 3 features an incredibly better display than Asus Transformer Prime, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a much better resolution of 1536 x 2048 pixels and a much greater screen density. Asus Transformer Prime features more memory for applications and games than iPad 3, and although they both have the same internal memory, the Asus Transformer Prime also has an external memory card slot that admits a maximum of 32 GB.
Asus Transformer Prime counts with a bit more powerful processor than Apple iPad 3, and although they both have 1 GB of RAM memory, the Asus Transformer Prime also has a greater number of faster cores. Apple iPad 3 shoots a bit better videos and photos than Asus Transformer Prime, although it has a camera with much less MP and a worse (Full HD) video resolution, they both have the same diafragm aperture.
Apple iPad 3 features a very superior battery duration than Asus Transformer Prime.
Apple iPad 3 is not only the best tablets between the ones we are comparing, but it's also by far the cheapest.
