Asus Fonepad 7 has a general score of 58.9, which is a bit better than the Asus Transformer Prime's score of 56.3. Asus Fonepad 7's design is a bit thinner and notably lighter than the Asus Transformer Prime. Both of these tablets have Android OS (operating system), but the Asus Fonepad 7 has newer 5.0 version and Asus Transformer Prime has Android 4.0.3, providing the user a lot of extra features and better performance.
Asus Fonepad 7 counts with a better looking display than Asus Transformer Prime, because although it has a really smaller display, and they both have exactly the same 1280 x 800 resolution, the Asus Fonepad 7 also counts with a better pixel density. Asus Transformer Prime has a lot bigger storage capacity to store more games and applications than Asus Fonepad 7, because although it has an external memory card slot that holds 32 GB smaller, it also counts with 64 GB internal storage capacity.
Asus Fonepad 7 features a bit better processing power than Asus Transformer Prime, and although they both have 4 processing cores, the Asus Fonepad 7 also has more RAM memory and a 64-bits processor. Asus Transformer Prime captures a lot better videos and photos than Asus Fonepad 7, and although they both have the same video frame rates and the same video definition, the Asus Transformer Prime also has a back camera with a lot higher resolution.
The Asus Transformer Prime and the Asus Fonepad 7 both feature quite similar battery performance.
Even being the best tablet of the ones we are comparing here, the Asus Fonepad 7 is also very cheap compared to the other devices.
