Microsoft Surface 2's design is newer and thinner than the Asus Transformer Prime's, but it's also heavier. Microsoft Surface 2 has Windows RT 8.1 OS, while Asus Transformer Prime comes with Android 4.0.3 OS.
The Microsoft Surface 2 has a little sharper display than Asus Transformer Prime, because it has a better pixels density, a little bigger display and a way better 1080 x 1920 resolution.
