Comparison review

Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) has a score of 61.4, which is a little bit better than the Asus Transformer Prime's 56.3 global score. Both of these tablets come with Android OS (Operating System), but the Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) has a newer 4.1 version while Asus Transformer Prime has Android 4.0.3 version, so it offers a couple nice extra features. Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1)'s design is a bit thinner but a bit heavier than Asus Transformer Prime, and they were only released with a few months difference.

Asus Transformer Prime counts with a bit faster processing unit than Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), and although they both have a 1 GB RAM memory, the Asus Transformer Prime also has more cores. Asus Transformer Prime has a bit better looking screen than Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1). Both have the same screen pixels density, the same exact resolution of 800 x 1280px and a display with the same size.

The Asus Transformer Prime counts with much more memory capacity to store more apps and games than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), because although it has a SD extension slot that holds 32 GB smaller, it also counts with 64 GB internal memory capacity. Asus Transformer Prime captures greater videos and photos than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), because it has a way better 1920x1080 (Full HD) video definition and a camera with a much better resolution.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) features a much longer battery performance than Asus Transformer Prime.
