Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 is much better than the Asus Transformer Prime, with a 66.2 score against 56.3. Both of these tablets work with Android OS (Operating System), but Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 has a newer 4.4.2 version while Asus Transformer Prime has Android 4.0.3 version, giving a couple additional features. Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0's design is much newer, incredibly lighter and extremely thinner than the Asus Transformer Prime.
The Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 has just a bit better processing power than Asus Transformer Prime, and although they both have a Quad-Core processing unit, the Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 also has an additional graphics processing unit and more RAM. Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 features a sharper screen than Asus Transformer Prime, because although it has a way smaller screen, and they both have the same exact 1280 x 800 pixels resolution, the Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 also counts with a greater quantity of pixels per screen inch.
The Asus Transformer Prime features a very superior camera than Galaxy Tab 4 8.0, because it has a much better 1920x1080 (Full HD) video definition and a back camera with a way better resolution. The Asus Transformer Prime has a lot bigger memory for applications and games than Galaxy Tab 4 8.0, because although it has an external memory card slot that supports a maximum of 32 GB against 64 GB, it also counts with more internal memory capacity.
The Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 has a very superior battery duration than Asus Transformer Prime.
In addition to being the best tablet in our comparison, Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 is also a lot cheaper, making this tablet an obvious call.
